Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite front-mount hitch # 65075 is a confirmed fit on your 2017 Nissan Frontier. From the tops of the frame brackets that contact the frame down to the bottom of the receiver tube the dimension is 6-inches according to my Draw-Tite contact. The bottoms of the frame brackets do extend approximately 1-inch below the bottom of the receiver so overall the hitch will be approximately 7-inches below the bottom of the frame rails.
Passenger and cargo load, as well as your specific tire size affect actual ground clearance. We show that your 2017 Frontier could be factory-equipped with any of three sizes of tire, 235/75-15, 265/70-16 and 265/75-16.
