What is the best way to secure the cargo bag/carrier for overnight hotel stays??

If you have anything of value in the etrailer Cargo Bag # e988501 you'd want to remove the bag and take it in the hotel room with you. You could try using a cable lock like part # e98891 and it would deter people from taking the bag, but the fabric of this would be pretty easily cut with a sharp enough knife which would render any type of theft deterrent pointless.
