Hi. Can you tell me what type of mounting hardware is used, and how it is installed for Item # PLR9-SS ? Thank you.

Number 10 screws are what is designed to attach the Hook and Keeper # PLR9-SS to the the wall/door. You'll need a total of 8 of these.
Basically you'd use a drill and you'd run the bolts down through the holes till they are tight.
