Is the Derale Insta-Dapt Radiator Adapter Part # D13004 Needed on a 2000 Volvo S70

Note: The Derale Insta-dapt radiator adapter fits most Volvo S70s with 5/16inch transmission lines, but not all. In some cases, additional fittings or alteration of the OEM lines or hoses may be required for installation. Can you clarify what I might need to install item D13501 on a 2000 Volvo S70, and how to tell if Ill need it?

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets part # D13501 comes with everything you will need for installation including the Derale Insta-Dapt Radiator Adapter part # D13004 unless your radiator does not accept 1/2”-20 female fittings then you would want to use the Derale Transmission Line Compression Fitting Kit part # D13031 for 5/16" factory transmission lines or part # D13032 for 3/8" factory transmission lines.
Unfortunately, there is no real way for me to tell whether or not you would need the additional fittings as we have not yet had the chance to install a transmission cooler on a 2000 Volvo S70.
