Question:
I have a 2015 Subaru Impreza Sport Limeted and I just installed this device with a friend that knows a bit about cars. After installing, I turned my car on only to find that my headlights do not work now, has anyone else experienced this issue? Thank you,

We offer different wiring harnesses for the 2015 Subaru Impreza depending on whether it is the sedan or the 5-door wagon. The sedan uses part # 118581 and the 5-door wagon use the item you referenced, part # 118573. Both install in the same way, by plugging in at the taillight connectors behind the car's rear lights.
The same circuit handles both the car headlights and the taillights. Odds are that either there is now a blown headlight fuse that needs to be replaced or that there is a connector that is not fully seated together.
Does the wiring harness work? Does it output the correct signals on the 4-pole plug? If yes, then this suggests the headlight issue is just coincidental.
If you have a circuit tester like # PTW2992 (or a 4-pole-equipped accessory like a lighted hitch cover) you can test the 4-pole plug to see if it has the output signals that it should. If not, then you know the harness was not installed correctly.
