Question:
Im considering purchasing the 63155 for use with Nissan maxama year 2000 model. I will be traveling on normal roads. About a 4000 mile round trip. Do you recommend it for this car and for this distance?

For your 2000 Nissan Maxima I would recommend you get a 20x48 Cargo Carrier # 52017 as this cargo carrier is compatible with vehicles that have Class I hitches like what would be on your vehicle. This carrier would do well on your 4,000 mile road trip.
The Cargo Carrier # 63155 that you referenced might not work for you since it is designed for vehicles with Class II hitches and there are no Class II hitches available for your vehicle. It fits some Class I hitches but not all of them. I attached an FAQ article on hitch classifications for you to check out also.
