Hydrastar Actuator HBA-16 Compatibility with OEM Trailer Brake Controller

Question:

Is this compatible with my 2012 Ford F350 to use the Electric-over-Hydraulic setting on the TBC? Or can I only use the electric setting with that truck?

The OEM trailer brake controllers in some model year Ford trucks are not directly compatible with electric-over-hydraulic (EOH) trailer brake actuators like the Hydrastar # HBA16 and will require either use of adapter # HBA-CAM or an aftermarket brake controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195.

However, the OEM controller in your 2012 F-350 pickup WILL work fine with the HydraStar EOH actuator without need for the # HBA-CAM adapter. If you scroll down on the page for the # HBA16 you will see a table that indicates various vehicle makes' compatibility with this disc brake actuator.
