Compatibility Fit of Rhino-Rack Load Assist with Rear Mounted Spare Tire on 2017 Jeep Wranger

Question:
Thinking of purchasing the Y01149 load assist. I have a 2017 Wrangler with factory spare on tailgate. My question is, will there be enough clearance to clear the tire with the unit in the verticle position? Ive seen pictures of this unit used on jeeps, some with larger tires, but Id like to know for sure. Dimension from center of hitch pin hole to tire face is 6.

The Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Load Extender # Y01149 has a distance from the center of the hitch pin to the upright bar of 9 inches. Based on the measurement you gave of your center of hitch pin hole to tire face of 6 inches on your 2017 Jeep Wrangler, you would have 3 inches of clearance and can use this product without issue.
