Question:
I bought anew rim and thought it was 14x5.5,but when I took the tire off I discovered the rim was 14x6. Can I still use the 14x5.5 rim?

Expert Reply:
Both of the standard trailer tire sizes for 14 inch wheels (205/75-14 and 215/75-14) are designed to fit a rim that is 5-1/2 inches wide. Those sizes also fit 6 inch wide rims too.
