Can you folks recommend/endorse the equivalent that will work with existing spray-in liners???

For your 2017 Ram 3500 with 8 foot bed and spray in liner, I recommend the BedTred Impact Truck Bed Mat - Trucks w/ Bare Beds or Spray-In Liners - Thermoplastic # IMT02LBS. I confirmed with the manufacturer that this is a custom fit that will work with your spray in liner and it will protect your bed while giving you a non-skid surface. The mat is 3/4 inch and has a tailgate gap hinge guard. It covers your bed floor, tailgate, and gap. It does not cover your wheel wells and sidewalls.
Because you have the spray in liner, I recommend the Supplemental Installation Kit for BedRug and BedTred Liners # BRZSPRAYON. This will provide an adhesive promoter to help the fasteners stick to the spray in surface and it will not damage your existing spray-in liner.
