Using 2 Propane Tanks with Mr. Heater Appliance

Question:

I just installed a mr heater 80,000 btu in my garage and is running it off a 100lb propane tank. Will this work with two 100lb tanks?

As long as the attachment requirements of your two 100 pound tanks match that of those on the Camco Automatic 2-Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59005, you can certainly use a two tank system. The inlets on the regulator have 1/4 inch inverted flare connections and the unit is rated for 160,000 BTUs an hour.

This regulator will let you connect the two propane tanks in order to maintain a constant gas pressure. It will automatically switch to the full tank when the other is empty, allowing you to also remove the empty cylinder without interrupting the propane supply.
