Published 11/22/2017 >
Question:
I want to install # 31345 on my 2017 Chevrolet 3500 express 15 passenger van. Do any of the lights on the trailer work if the powered converter fails or malfunctions?

Expert Reply:
If the converter box of the # 31345 fails most likely all of the pins, or some of the pins, will have voltage on them at all times rendering the trailer wiring useless. If the box fails the entire trailer wiring setup stops working.
