Can Camco RV and Marine Water Filter be Used to Filter Water in On Board Fresh Water Tank

Question:
Hello, I am looking to purchase a water filter specifically to filter the water in my on board fresh water tank. I will be using a foot operated pump as the means of moving the water. Can the Camco RV and Marine Premium Water Filter w/ Replaceable Cartridge and Hose Extension - KDF/Carbon Item # CAM40631 Be used for this application in between the tap and the pump? Thank you!

I spoke with my contact at Camco regarding the RV and Marine Premium Water Filter # CAM40631 referenced in your question. He stated that you can absolutely use this filter for your specific application. You will have no issue using this to filter the water in your on board fresh water tank via a foot operated pump.
The premium spun polypropylene filter will clean the water using 3 media and the replaceable filter cartridge is good for a full camping season. The filter housing, 12 inch extension hose and 1 replaceable filter cartridge are included.
