Troubleshooting Right Turn Signal on Trailer Not Working
Updated 10/18/2017 | Published 10/17/2017 >
Question:
There is no voltage to green wire at harness. I’m trying to figure out where that green wire comes from, but I loose it close to fuse box. Is there a fuse for that right turn light?, and if there is, which fuse is it?, thanks.

I tried researching a fuse location on your 2005 Nissan Pathfinder but everything I found is very vague. Check your owner's manual for any specific information because the fuse is a good place to start.
It sounds like you've already used a circuit tester, like # PTW2993, to test at the Pathfinder's 4-way trailer connector. If you're not getting power and all of the fuses are okay, then you'll need to inspect the vehicle's connector and wiring looking for any corrosion or damage. If you're getting power here when you engage the right brake or turn signal, then the problem is on the trailer.
If the Pathfinder did test okay, then the issue is on the trailer's side. Start at its connector and check for any corrosion. Then follow the wire all the way to the lights looking for any damage. Also, check the ground connection for that light whether it's a ground wire or grounded through the mounting hardware.
