Question:
My lock reads 009, so I ordered that key, received 10/16/17 but does not fit. It does have a stamped letter E and number 2 under the lock. the first key I ordered was N170, which does not fit either. Kia -2012- sportage, the racks do fit but lost the keys. Please Help!!

If the lock core on your SportRack roof rack has "009" printed on it, the Replacement Key # THKEYN009 that you referenced should be the correct replacement.
When using a new key like this one, it is not unusual for the fit to appear off the first time you use it. You can use a rubber mallet or small hammer to gently coax/tap the key into its fully-inserted position. This should get the key to work and you will only need to do this the first time you use it.
