Question:
Doh! Forgot this! Is the 3-1/2: the width of the step? I have a narrow foot and 3-1/2inch only accommodates a bit of the toe of my shoe. In a walking shoe, again a narrow foot, midsole is 4inch wide. A wider foot in a work boot would have only a toe hold. I hope your information is wrong or I am reading it wrong. Thanks

The width of the step refers to the depth of the platform and not how wide the platform is. From side to side the platform of the # CARR108221 measures 7 inches and the depth measures 3-1/2 inches.
