For Install of Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit How to Know if Trailer Is Aluminum

Question:
I am looking purchase and install the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit for 3inch x 3inch Tongue - Bolt On - Up to 5,000 lbs. Item # FHDPB330301. The specs say it is NOT recommended for aluminum trailers. I believe mine is not aluminum, but how do I know for sure? Thanks

One way would be to see if a magnet would attach to it! Magnets are attracted to steel and to iron but not to aluminum so that would be one way. Is the trailer frame painted or is a raw metal? If it looks like a raw metal that would be a giveaway that it's aluminum since steel rusts.
You could also send me a picture of it and I'd take a look.
