Question:
Want to confirm that CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side Item # CM10900 will fit on my 2011 Escalade which has the heated mirrors with the blind side alert. They are painted the body color but they have a chrome strip that goes across just below the middle of the mirror. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
According to my research, the blind spot monitoring devices on your 2011 Cadillac Escalade are in the rear bumper therefore, the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors part # CM10900 should not interfere with this feature. As long as the chrome strip you are referring to is flush with the mirror housing then they should work well for you. The heated feature of your factory mirrors will also not be lost while using these slip-on towing mirrors.
