According to the owner's manual for your 2017 Ram 2500, traction devices such as tire chains are only permitted to be used on the rear two wheels, with LT245/70R17, LT265/70R18, LT275/70R18 tires, and must be Class U compatible.
Tire chains often fit multiple different size tires. As a 285/65-20 tire is only 10mm wider and 7mm taller than a 275/65-20 tire, most tire chains designed for a 275/65-20 tire will also fit a 285/65-20 tire or vice versa. However, you will want to check with the manufacturer for a list of exact tire sizes that a set of tire chains will work with.
I have attached a list of all tire chains we have confirmed to fit a 285/65-20 tire for you. If you can tell me what tire chains you are looking at, I would be glad to provide you with a list of compatible tire sizes.
