I took a look and each of the towing mirrors that fit a 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 also fit a 2017 Chevy 1500. The mirror I recommend taking a look at are the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror # KS3891. It measures 7-3/4" tall x 5-1/8" wide, giving you a more expansive view of your surroundings. It has rubber pads on the straps so as not to scratch or scuff your Silverado's current mirror housing and installs without any tools.
