Will K2 Rampage Snow Plow Work With a 2004 Jeep Wrangler?

Question:

I just purchased a 2004 Jeep Wrangler and would like to know how the k2 rampage II snowplow would be mounted, also I wondered if it would be too heavy for the Jeep. Does the wireless control for the winch work well from the cab of the Jeep, is there any other kit or mounting brackets that I need to purchase? thanks

The Detail K2 Rampage II Snowplow # K2RAMP8219 will fit a 4-wheel drive 2004 Jeep Wrangler. When assembled, the K2 Rampage is 265 lbs, and as long as adding that amount of weight will not exceed your gross axle weight rating (GAWR) then it will not be an issue. To find your Wrangler's GAWR, just locate the "Tire and Loading Information" placard in your Jeep, which according to the owner's manual is located on the lower driver's side instrument panel.

The snow plow would be mounted using Custom Mounting Brackets for Detail K2 Snowplows # K284117, which are the direct fit for a 4-wheel drive '04 Wrangler. The wireless control for the winch does indeed work perfectly from inside your Jeep, reliably positioning it up or down as you see fit.
