Question:
I am getting ready to install suspension on my tandem axle utility trailer. Currently the spring perches on the axles are welded to the frame. I have a set of slipper springs, which I think are 2inch wide, but the slipper end is shaped like a C, not like what I see in the info for APT6SE-36. The axles are 6000 lb axles, and I will be replacing the hubs/drums/brakes soon as well. Would this kit be what I need?

We have one 6,000 lb axle rated slipper spring that is 2 inches wide. For that you would want the part # e67SR that is 27 inches long. The ends of this spring are hooked but do not come all the way back around like a C shape like what it sounds like you have. However, both styles are acceptable and will install in the same way.
The tandem axle hanger kit part # APT6SE-36 that you referenced will work with what you have since you said your springs are 2 inches wide.
I also attached a link to a page that has all of the 6k rated trailer hubs we offer. You'd need to select the bolt pattern of the hub you need as well as the style.
