Question:

Have you made changes to fit the 2017 tundra - OEM hitch and running boards the length of the cab? The tie downs from my 2015 do not work. Plastic bumper in the rear makes current install impossible without cutting the bumper braces. Larger fuel tank and frame tollerence makes front impossible to install. Help! or I have to sell my camper. Thx.

We do have a few options for you to add camper tie downs to your 2017 Toyota Tundra, but it depends on some of the specifics for your truck.

Since you have the running boards that go to the cab and an OEM hitch I have narrowed down your options to the following:

Double Cab - 4WD - 6.5' bed - Front Steel Tie Downs # TLT2310, Rear Steel Tie Downs # TLT3306
Crew Max - 4X2 - 5.5' bed - Rear Steel Tie Downs # TLT3306
Crew Max - 4WD - 5.5' bed - Rear Steel Tie Downs # TLT3306

If you have any other cab/bed length combination there are no camper tie downs that are available for you.

Please keep in mind that TorkLift states that if you plan to tow, the rear tie downs will change your hitch application. So if you end up changing out your OEM hitch receiver then you will need different rear tie downs.
