Good day, Let me start off by saying how blown away I am with your company and customer service. I have NEVER received so much expert advice BEFORE the sale of any product. Your follow up afterwards is absolutely top notch. Kudos to all of you. Now the question, I have a 2009 VW Tiguan and there are no options for me from the dealer for tow mirrors as my travel trailer is wider than my little Tig so visibility is none and unsafe. What universal towing mirror would you suggest as my mirrors are rounded and oblong. I was thinking strap on vs. clip on but will let you guide me. Thanks so much.

I do have a solution for you but it isn't a mirror. The side mirrors on your 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan are not conducive for use with universal towing mirrors because they would not be able to properly grip the factory side mirrors. If you want to try the universal mirrors that I recommend the most are K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors # KS3990.

A camera system with 2 cameras, # SH03D, would allow you the best visibility. Mirrors can only show you so much but a camera system won't have those limitations. You can mount the cameras on the trailer or on the vehicle. They don't even have to be permanently mounted meaning you can use the system with other vehicles as well.
