Question:
Dont have any trailer lights except running lights, Thought it was just my trailers, trying to fix but do not have any current coming from the harness at the factory socket. Checked the socket I have the hot pin and the running light pin. Same way in the wiring behind the socket. I see mention of some modules. Would they have sold me this truck with this not workin?

You are correct, you will need relays for the brake and turn signals on your 2006 Nissan Titan, if they were not factory installed. The CURT Relay Kit for Nissan, part # C57000, will have the large, brown relay that will activate the 12-volt power circuit and the two, small blue relays that activate the brake and turn signals.
These relays are installed under the hood. We have a video showing the installation of the relays, see link, at about 6 minutes in.
Since the 12 volt power and running light circuits are active you should not need the large brown relay mentioned in the video.
If you check under the hood and the relays are in place, you should check the power distribution box for blown or missing tow package fuses. If the relays are in place this is most likely the reason for no brake and turn signals.
