Thule Weekender Cargo Carrier on a 2015 Ford Explorer

Question:
My In-Laws are offering my wife and I their old... Thule Weekender Roof Mounted Cargo Box, and my question is.....will it work on a 2015 Ford Explorer?, and would I need anything brackets, etc. to mount it? Thanks!

The Thule Weekender has a minimum crossbar spread of 24-inches and a maximum of 36-inches. If the distance between the center of your front crossbar and the center of your rear crossbar is between 24 and 36 inches, then the Thule Weekender will fit your vehicle.
I recommend purchasing a replacement hardware kit, part # TH04997 just in case as it has all of the pieces to replace the mounting hardware as the need arises.
