I have attached the complete installation instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13329 that you can look through.
This trailer hitch is designed for the 2017-2018 Kia Niro and no drilling will be required, as it will use existing mounting holes in the vehicle's frame. The exhaust will need to be temporarily lowered and some minor trimming on the plastic panel will be required during installation.
