Thule OutWay fit on 2017 BMW X1

Question:
I was wondering why you do not list this bike rack # TH56BV as a fit for the 2017 BMW X1. I reached out to Thule directly and they told me it should work when adjusting to setting #7 as long as the spoiler is factory installed which they all are for this model. Can you advise why you are saying it is not a fit?

You are correct that the Thule OutWay 3 Bike Carrier # TH56BV has been confirmed by Thule to fit a 2017 BMW X1. On occasion, manufacturers make changes to fit guides after their initial release, which was the case with this rack.
