Female 7-Way Trailer Connector Recommendation for Chevy Silverado
Updated 08/23/2017 | Published 08/22/2017 >
Question:
Im trying to replace a plug that connects my cab over camper made by Fleetwood to my Chevy Silverado pick up truck. The molded plug by Bargman has 6 female connectors plus the center lead making it a 7 lead plug I assume. The plug listed on your website Cequent Electrical Products model 50-77-003 looks correct but is a MALE . Is there one with FEMALE leads as my truck receptacle has male connectors. I can send pictures if needed. Im afraid my wires became disconnected within the molded plug when the cable got stretched and pulled when mounting the camper.

The part # A7WCB is a male side 7-way connector. If you need the female side connector as well, you would want the # HM40975 if your vehicle has the round 7-way socket already present.
If you need to hardwire the 7-way you'd need the part # HM40975-11998 instead.
