Question:
I have an old Rhode Gear carrier with rubber straps with holes. I need to know the exact size of the holes of this #TH534 strap to see if it will work with my setup. Rhode Gear parts must be obsolete for the one I have since I cant find the straps for it anywhere. Thank you.

Bike rack parts such as rubber straps like Thule part # TH534 can sometimes be used interchangeably between different brands of bike racks. The Thule straps have holes that measure 7/16-inch. On their top side those holes have a rounded perimeter, to give something like a slight funnel shape, which gives that side of the strap a hole diameter closer to 1/2-inch.
Rhode Gear was bought out by Yakima some years back and so there is limited availability of replacement parts for their racks. At this point we have just the two original replacement parts that are shown on the linked page, Control Block # RG8890083 and Hardware Kit # RG890247.
