Question:
My tow vehicle is a 2017 Ram 3500HD with Cummins HO Diesel with Aisin HD 6 speed transmission. I am using an Anderson Aluminum goose neck system connected to the pin. I am towing a 2010 Montana 3075RL 5th wheel trailer. Which 5th wheel pin box retrofit would work the best? I want improve my towing experience without the dynamics of the tow vehicle and trailer . Or what other alternatives would you recommend if I do not use the Anderson hitch? Thank you for your response.

Pin box replacements are always model specific, so the model number is needed to determine the replacement that will fit. You can usually find your pin box number on a sticker or plate on the pin box itself. If not, you can measure for your pin box model. I've attached a link to instructions explaining how to do this.
Once you know your model number, you can choose the specific pin box that will work for your trailer.
To improve your towing experience, I recommend going with the Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box. There are a few different models of this box, so the specific model you need will depend on your pin box number. For instance, the Flex Air # LC328492 was designed to replace the common Lippert 1621 pin boxes, whereas the # LC328484 was designed to replace Lippert 0719 models. The cushioned Flex Air offers a drastic improvement in your towing experience with its internal air bag for absorbing road shock, compressing pin box to compensate for jarring and bounce, and rubber compound to reduce trailer wear and tear.
Another option is the 5th Airborne Air Ride, such as model # 5AB-E1621-16K, which is designed to fit a variety of pin box models. This cushioned pin box includes an adjustable air spring and shock absorber. It reduces chucking by nearly 60%, decreases vertical shock by 44%, and relieves stress on the coach frame. It also has built-in friction-sway control.
According to my research, your fifth wheel has a loaded weight of about 14,430 lbs, so either of these adapters, which start at 16,000 lb weight capacities, should be more than enough for your towing needs.
I've attached video reviews of both of these pin boxes for you as well.
