Do you need the 3rd piece extension part to create the 62in length or does the additional extension piece add to the 62 in length? Thanks for your help!

The extension piece that comes with the Curt basket part # C18115-117 is included, but if you needed it separately it would be part # C18117.
Basically the part # C18115-117 is just the part # C18115 and the part # C18117.
