The Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Fan - Class V part # D15450 is a remote mounted engine cooler that can be mounted anywhere on the vehicle that space is available for. The engine oil cooler kit comes with 5 oil filter thread adapters for various vehicles. For your 2007 Ford Ranger, you will want to use the thread adapter with the yellow paint marking as this has the 3/4-16 thread size needed for the oil filter thread on your 4.0 V6 engine.
This engine oil cooler comes will all mounting hardware and brackets needed for installion. The fan is capable of up to 500 CFM which is far superior to most standard engine oil cooler fans. As long as you have 12-3/4" wide x 9-3/8" tall x 4-5/16" deep of space to mount this cooler, it should work well for you.
