Compatibility of Curt Class I Receiver Part # 11186 with 2010 Audi A4 Avant

Question:
Can you confirm that Curt hitch 11186 will also fit the Avant model, as indicated on another web site? I bought and installed Curt 11195 specified for Avant but it hangs too low bottoms out on driveways and is unsightly. I need a hidden solution.

I have spoken with one of my contacts in Tech Support at Curt Manufacturing, who tells me that the the Class I Receiver Hitch, part # 11186 will not fit the wagon, or Avant model. He confirmed that the receiver you currently have is the only receiver designed for use on that vehicle.
