Question:
I have a Swagman Titan 2 Bike Carrier for 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting, which I purchased from you for my old car. I now have a 2017 Chevy Volt and want to find the proper hitch receiver for this carrier. Can you please recommend which carrier will work for this carrier for my Volt. thank you

The trailer hitch receiver that you will want to install on your 2017 Chevrolet Volt is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11436. This is a Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver that has a tongue weight rating of 200 lbs. You will want to check the weight rating of your Volt to see how much weight it can carry as that will most likely be the deciding factor. Since this hitch receiver requires that the bumper be removed for installation, I recommend looking into having a shop install it, but I have attached our installation video that you can use as a reference should you choose to install it yourself. This hitch is rated at a 10/10 difficulty level to install.
Your Swagman Titan 2 Bike Rack # S63400 is compatible with this hitch receiver.
