Recommended Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier for 2011 Suzuki Kizashi

Question:

I have a 2011 Suzuki Kizashi sls. It already has the mounting points for a roof rack. I am trying to figure out the one I need? I am trying to mount two kayaks. Thanks

The only available roof rack systems that are confirmed to fit the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi are designed to mount onto a naked roof without any existing rails or crossbars. There is not currently a system that will mount directly to channels or tracks on the roof of your vehicle.

I recommend looking at the Rhino rack Aero Bar Roof Rack. This roof rack consists of # RRVA126B-2 for the two 49 inch Vortex Aero Crossbars, # RRRLKVA for the 2500 Series Legs, and # DK065 for the DK Fit Kit. The Fit Kit will clamp into the curves of your door jambs and provide attachment points for the legs and crossbars. This will provide an extremely quiet system with a weight capacity of 165 pounds. I have included a video demonstration for you to check out.

Then for a carrier to transport your 2 kayaks, I recommend the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier # S512. The J-Style carriers will mount to the crossbars on the above roof rack and can expand with # RRS512X to hold both of your kayaks. Tie-down straps and buckles are included to secure the watercrafts to the carrier. I also recommend adding the Rhino-Rack Bonnet Tie-Down Straps to further secure the kayaks.
