Does the Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard # RM-4000 Blocking Air Flow Cause Problems

Question:
We are interested in the rock guard but our owners manual says they may block airflow. How do we avoid this? We just bought a 2017 Chevy Malibu Lt.

Is there a reason you would need air flow to your vehicle while it is being flat towed? The engine shouldn't be on so there would be no reason it would need air flow to the radiator.
Also, on modern vehicles the radiators pull air from underneath the vehicle, so if for some reason your radiator did need air flow it would still get it since this does not block air from getting to the under side of the vehicle.
