2008 Ford Sport Trac Adrenalin Where is the best spot to access the wiring harness to install the power tailgate lock? What are the colours for the door locks in the wiring harness?

Since your truck is a 4 door (crew cab) then the wires can be located in the step plate.
For the 2008 vehicles like yours locate the Grey or Grey/with Tan stripe wire and the Purple or Purple/with Grey stripe wire for installing the lock.
