Can Loctite Disc Brake Quiet Stick be Used on Shimmed Pads

Question:
Other brake quiet products arent recommended for use on shimmed pads. Is that the case for this as well?

I spoke with my contact at Loctite and she stated that the Disc Brake Quiet Stick # LT40300 referenced in your question can be used on shimmed pads. You will just want to make sure it does not come in contact with any surface that is in friction or in constant contact with the rotor.
