Expert Reply:
To install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75186, on a 2000 Nissan Frontier, you will need a 1/2 inch drill bit, a 3/4 inch wrench, and a torque wrench capable of at least 70 foot pounds. I have included a link to the installation instructions for reference.
If you plan on doing some towing, the recommended ball mount is # AMSC2 and you can use pin and clip # PC3. For a ball you can use # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 63847 (2-5/16 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, use T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118362. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation.
