Question:
Can I hook these lights up to a battery that is not in a car? I wanted to install them on my kayak and have a small 12v batter I wanted to hook it up to?

It is possible to install driving lights, like part # MT80637-2, on a kayak with a 12-volt battery to power them. You'd just want to make sure they were installed in a way to keep water off them.
