Hi... like your videos I have a 2011 FJ Cruiser... going to tow possibly if I buy it... a 2010 Airstream 19 I may need a break controller. I have the factory trailer break wiring and have used it for a motorcycle trailer and know it works. Looks like I may need only a wiring harness to the back of a trailer break unit to the connector that I am assuming is under the dash to right of steering wheel... and of course the controller. Is this correct and if so what unit is best? Thanks

There are no plug-in adapters available for your 2011 FJ Cruiser. To install a brake controller you will have to do some hardwiring.
The brake controller I recommend is the P3 # 90195. This is one of our most popular because it is easy to set up and operate.
You said you have a trailer connector on the back of your vehicle. I assume it is a 4-way. A 7-way is needed when you are using a brake controller. I recommend part # ETBC7. This plugs into the 4-way and you will need to run the additional wiring as shown in the attached drawing.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
