Location of Electric Brake Controller Adapter Connector in a 2016 Ram 1500

Question:
2016 Ram 1500 Laramie - is the factory harness plugged into another harness? The only thing I find under my accelerator is a harness ready plugged in. I attached a picture. I unplugged it and the truck ran fine.

When installing an electric brake controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195 in a 2016 Ram 1500 you'll use adapter # 3024-P.
The connector in your truck that the adapter plugs into is up under the dash just to the right of the steering column. It's likely taped to another wiring harness but won't be plugged into anything. There may be a cap on the end of the connector though.
I've attached a picture showing the connector as well as a video showing the entire install.
