What is Thread Size of Derale Filter Relocation Kit # D15725

Question:

On some of your Question and Answer, the 15725 is a M22x1.5 thread, but in the filter unit it uses a 3/4 x16 thread? Why is there a change? My 2008 F150 is a M22x1.5 and the filter thread should be the same?

The engine thread size of the Derale Oil Filter Relocation Kit # D15725 is 22 mm x 1.5 mm so if that's what you have this would fit and work well for you.

The new filter you will need to use will have thread size 3/4"-16 so you will have to run a different filter.

I did some checking and all of the engines available for the 2012 Ram 1500 use an oil filter with the thread size of M22 x 1.5. That means that #D15725 would work as a relocation kit for your truck.
