what keeps this jack from backing down when weight is applied?

The friction in the threads of the screw on the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks with Handle # LC285344 keep it from allowing itself to unscrew and lower itself. When the weight of the trailer pushes horizontally on the threads of the jack it does not allow it unscrew itself.
