Recommended Hydraulic Disc Brakes for Dexter 7,000 Pound Axles

For the 7,000 pound Dexter axles on your 5th Wheel Camper, I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR79E. This kit is designed for 7,000 pound axles, 16 inch and larger wheels and features an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern. The kit includes 2 full brake assemblies (rotor-and-hub assemblies, cast iron calipers, caliper-mounting brackets and caliper-mounting bolts).

You will just need to add the compatible bearings with # 25580 and # 02475 and for the grease seal # RG06-070.

Then for a brake line kit, I recommend the HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # HS496-252. This will include 25 foot, 6 foot and 4-1/4 foot brake lines. 3/16 inch flex lines and the needed fittings and hardware are also a part of this kit.

The hydraulic actuator I recommend looking at is the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator for Disc Brakes # T4750720. This is a bolt-on actuator that will mount to a 3 inch wide channel tongue and has a weight capacity of 20,000 pounds.
