Can Edge CS2 Programmer be Unplugged from Vehicle Once Programming is Completed

I have a 2010 gmc sierra with the edge evolution cs2 on it. After i set the program in it that i want will it be safe to unplug the programmer ? And will the setting stay in the truck with it out?

Yes, once the programming is complete with the Edge CS2 part # EP85350 that you have you can unplug it from the vehicle and it will run just fine and the tune stays on the vehicle. You only lose the monitor features when you do this.
