Will Trailair Pin Box Collect Water on Top of It When Parked
Published 06/23/2017 >
Question:
Does water collect in the cavity on top of pin box? Are there drainage holds to let water out? Do units show signs of rusting in this area?

I spoke to my contact at Trailair and he said that the Trailair pin box is not waterproof, and therefore can fill with water when there are heavy rains. Subsequently, when the unit is moved, the water inside can slosh out. One way to prevent this from happening would be to drill a small hole, using a 1/8” to 3/16” drill bit into the bottom of the pin box to allow this water to drain if needed, instead of gathering inside it.
