Replacement Jack For A Dorsey Boat Trailer
Published 06/23/2017 >
Question:
I am looking for a trailer jack for my Dorsey boat trailer that has a welded bracket. The bolt pattern is 3inch x 5.5inch on centers. Do you have anything that will fit this?

I do have a few options for you however, it looks to me like you have a plate bolted onto your trailer with a bracket welded to the top of that. If you are referring to the plate bolted to the frame in which the bracket is welded atop of, we do not have a jack that will fit those bolt holes and replace the custom brackets.
Instead you will need to leave your existing brackets on, and replace the jack with either the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack part # FXP10W0301 or the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack part # FTJ120W0301. The correct jack for you will depend on how the previous jack is attached to the bracket. If the jack is attached by a snap ring, you will want part # FTJ120W0301 and is the jack is attached by a bolt through the center of the bracket, you will want part # FXP10W0301. Both of these jacks have a 1,200 lb. weight capacity.
Another option for you to consider is a complete bolt on jack and bracket kit. For this you will want the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack part # PSEJ10000101. The Pro Series jack has a weight capacity of 1,000 lbs.
I have attached a video review of both the Fulton and Pro Series jacks for you.
