How to Attach Roller Bunks # DL21741 to 6 Ft Wooden Bunks on a Boat Trailer

I am not clear on how you roller bunks mount to my existing wood bunks. My current bunks are 6 FT and are mounted narrow side up. do the roller bunks go over the wood bunk and bolt directly to them and If I mount them that way do I need any special brackets?

You are correct, you can mount the Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunks, item # DL21741, directly to the top of your existing wooden bunks. If mounted in this fashion you would not need any brackets.
I would recommend stainless steel mounting screws, available at a local hardware store, to attach the roller bunks to your wooden bunks.
If you wanted to remove the wooden bunks, you would need to use the Boat Trailer Roller Bunk Brackets, item # DL21742, to install the roller bunks on. I would recommend stainless steel hardware to attach the brackets to the trailer and roller bunks also.
